R!SE ABOVE WITH ME

The Mission

For years, I jumped from job to job, feeling stuck and out of place. As a neurodivergent person, I struggled to find work that suited me and often felt like I didn’t fit in. Even after earning a psychology degree, I realized that traditional career paths weren’t built for people like me. What I needed was someone who truly understood my experiences—someone who could help me navigate life in a way that made sense for me.

That’s why I created R!SE ABOVE WITH ME COACHING—a space where neurodivergent individuals can find guidance, support, and real strategies to help them build a life that works for them, not against them. Through coaching, I combine customized strategies, practical resources, and advocacy support to help you gain confidence, set meaningful goals, and create a life that aligns with who you are.

I’m here to be the coach I wish I had—someone who understands the neurodivergent experience firsthand and provides support that actually makes a difference.

Meet Your Coach

I’m Certified Autistic (yes, that’s a real thing!), which means I don’t just understand struggles like anxiety, sensory overload, and navigating a world not built for us—I’ve lived them. My experiences have shaped who I am and how I approach coaching. I know what it’s like to feel out of place, to push through tough moments, and to grow into a life that finally makes sense.

I’ve also had to adapt—a lot. Having lived in over 40 different places, I learned firsthand how to adjust, rebuild, and find stability in unfamiliar situations. Those lessons have become an essential part of how I help others today.

My Background

My education and training combine both academic knowledge and lived experience to create a well-rounded, practical approach to coaching.

I studied Psychology and Sociology, earning an A.A. degree and became a member of Psi Chi, The International Honor Society in Psychology. I completed coursework just short of a Bachelor’s degree, focusing on Abnormal Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Learning & Behavior, and Cognitive Psychology. Even though I didn’t finish my degree, my studies—combined with my personal journey—have given me deep insight into human behavior and how we grow through life’s challenges. I’m constantly learning, evolving, and seeking new ways to support those I work with.

I hold certifications as a Life Purpose Coach and Professional Life Coach from Transformation Academy. These programs are accredited by the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Standards Agency and recognized by the Better Business Bureau, ensuring my coaching is backed by professional training and ethical standards. These certifications allow me to help clients find clarity, direction, and meaningful progress in their lives—whether they’re facing personal challenges, career uncertainties, or struggles with self-acceptance.

I also have hands-on coaching experience from my time at Sitel, a global call center, where I worked with employees to improve their performance using SMART goals and tailored strategies. This experience reinforced my belief that everyone learns and grows differently—which is why my coaching approach is always personalized to fit your unique needs.

Beyond Coaching

I’m also a writer and storyteller, passionate about exploring personal growth, healing, and connection. My books reflect the same values I bring to coaching:

From Blind Faith to Fact: A Journey to Healing
The Alchemist’s Apprentice: How Connection Became My Crucible

Both books dive into self-discovery, resilience, and the transformative power of relationships—themes that resonate deeply with neurodivergent experiences. You can find them on Amazon if you're interested in exploring these ideas further.

At the core of everything I do—whether it's coaching, writing, or simply sharing my journey—is the belief that everyone deserves support while they grow and find self-acceptance. You don’t have to figure everything out alone. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’m here to help.

A Little About Me

I’ve been with my amazing partner, Kelly, for seven years, and together, we’ve built a home filled with love, understanding, and two incredibly lovable dogs who keep life interesting. Our little world isn’t perfect, but it’s ours, and that means everything.

Beyond my work, I find joy in the simple things—getting lost in a good book, experimenting with new recipes (sometimes successfully, sometimes not), and crafting the perfect cup of coffee. There’s something comforting about the hum of an engine, whether I’m behind the wheel of a car, an e-scooter, or anything else that moves. Writing is another love of mine—it helps me process, reflect, and connect with the world in ways that spoken words sometimes don’t.

But my life hasn’t just been about hobbies or happy moments. Like many neurodivergent people, I’ve faced challenges—navigating social situations, figuring out how to meet expectations (or deciding which ones were worth meeting), and, most of all, learning to accept myself fully. It wasn’t easy, and for a long time, I didn’t think it was even possible.

That’s why I do this work. I know what it’s like to feel misunderstood, to struggle with self-doubt, to wonder if you’ll ever find a place where you truly fit. And I also know what it’s like to finally take control of your own story—to recognize that you don’t have to fit someone else’s mold to live a fulfilling, meaningful life.

So, I’m here to help you do the same. To rise above the struggles that hold you back, to build confidence, and to create a life that feels right for you. Because no one should have to figure it all out alone. You deserve support, you deserve self-acceptance, and you deserve a future that feels like your own.

Let’s make that happen—together.
